Vintage 18K Emerald Pre-Columbian Revival Brooch Pendant

This distinctive vintage brooch pendant is made in 18K yellow gold and features a natural emerald set at the center of a highly stylized geometric figure.

The design is characteristic of Pre-Columbian Revival jewelry, drawing from the abstract anthropomorphic forms associated with ancient Tolima goldwork. Alternating textured and polished surfaces emphasize the geometric construction of the figure, with a crescent-shaped element completing the lower portion of the design.

At the center is a natural rectangular step-cut emerald measuring approximately 4.6 × 5 mm. The emerald is bezel set with fine milgrain detailing along the edge.

Designed to be worn two ways, the reverse features both a pin mechanism and pendant bail, allowing the piece to be worn as either a brooch or pendant.
